  1. FACILITATOR AUTHORITY: The facilitator has the right and the responsibility to dismiss anyone from the class who does not comply. We are committed to providing excellent programming and require your adherence to the class rules.

  2. CELL PHONES- ELECTRONIC DEVICES: The use of cell phones to make and receive calls, as well as send and receive information, such as texting, is strictly prohibited during class. You must set your phone to silent. If there is an emergency that requires you to make a call, let the instructor know, and briefly leave the room to make your call and return. Sending information via email or texting is prohibited except during breaks and lunch. All electronic devices must be turned off. Listening to music, the radio, or anything else that takes your attention away from the speaker is prohibited.

  3. BE RESPECTFUL TO OTHERS IN THE CLASS: It is important that there is dialogue in class. Differing opinions and ideas make the class interesting and informative. It is important that you respect other class participants by listening, not interrupting, and using respectful appropriate language to voice your opinion. Avoid private conversations during class while the instructor is speaking or during group activities.

  4. LUNCH AND BREAKS: The instructor will provide you with times for breaks and lunch. You must return to class at the time designated. The instructor may dismiss you from the class if you fail to return to class on time.

  5. ALCOHOL AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE: If you are under the influence of any substance which prevents you from remaining physically and mentally alert, you may be dismissed from class. If you become ill, or are taking medications that prevent you from being fully present, let the instructor know, and you will need to reschedule your class so that you can comply with these requirements.
